Does Texas Roadhouse Take Apple Pay?
Yes — most Texas Roadhouse locations in the U.S. do accept Apple Pay for in-restaurant purchases. Over the last few years, Texas Roadhouse has gradually upgraded its payment terminals to support contactless transactions, including Apple Pay on iPhone and Apple Watch.
However, because Texas Roadhouse locations are franchise-operated regionally, acceptance may vary by store. Some older locations may still be using legacy terminals that don’t support tap-to-pay.
If you want to be 100% sure, you can simply ask the server or check for the contactless payment symbol on the card reader.
How to Use Apple Pay at Texas Roadhouse
If the location supports Apple Pay, here’s the process:
- Request your bill normally
- When the terminal is presented, hold your iPhone or Apple Watch near the reader

It’s quick, private, and eliminates the need to hand over a physical card.
